well, i figured out i should post about the game i’m kind of developing on my dev blog xD these are the main characters of the visual novel i’m slowly (sloooooooowly) in my free time. it’s set in the same universe of my COMMON BONDS 2 short story. more about it here but in short: a city of witches, dead old gods and a mystical swamp and river. the game itself is about river (mc) returning to their abandoned family’s manor only to find out it isn’t that abandoned after all!

i’m developing it on godot and so far i only have the placeholder art for the rooms of the manor i want to be in the demo. the game will have some light point & click elements but it’s mostly about river trying to figure out why their family was (supposedly) cursed and then why there is someone else living in the place now.

i’m also having way too much fun planning this game. this is probably over scoped to hell and back and not all rooms will make it to the final game but here’s the layout of the manor (so far):

anyway that’s all! progress is hella slow but it’s happening and at this point that’s enough for me.

i’m more active on bluesky where i mostly post about my cats but sometimes i also post about manor game.
