This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Stations. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.

Adding a new AfD discussion

Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:

Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Stations|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.

There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.

Removing a closed AfD discussion

Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.

Other types of discussions

You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Stations. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.

Egmont Road railway station

It appears this article has been taken about as far as it can go with available sources, and it still does not clear WP:GNG. Source 3 is the only one that comes anywhere near a SIGCOV pass, but even if it were counted none of the other sources meet that standard. A basic BEFORE search online, including a look through Google books, failed to turn up anything besides websites scraping off of Wikipedia. Most of the other sources in the article are unrelated to the station, but discuss things like a grade separation that happened to occur nearby. Note that refs 1 and 4 are the same, and really just opening and closing dates and the words "5/5/1894 - stopping place, no facilities". Fuminosato Station

This article was recently redirected to Tanimachi Line by 4meter4 but restored by another editor, so I'm starting an AfD to establish consensus on notability. The sources about the station at the Japanese wiki article seem to be routine coverage judging by Google Translate, but a native speaker may be able to uncover additional sources. Restore redirect to Tanimachi Line per above. Aside from guidebooks, I was able to find this book about Osaka Metro construction, but it mostly focused on the line rather than the station. Weak Keep There isn't a lot, but there might be just enough to pass the line. There is one source discussing the predecessors of this station and how this station replaced it: [1], and ZH wiki is using an offline source, from the title it could have SIGCOV and from where the citation is used I will AGF that it does: 大阪の地下鉄 : 創業期から現在までの全車両, 全路線を詳細解說. Restore redirect, as a station with little notability per Epicgenius. There might be a bit on the offline books, but given this is an average metro station with little events, I don't have much hopes. The source's title (see Jumpytoo) looks like a coverage of all lines (and rolling stock) in Osaka, which usually never provide anything beyond a passing mention of a minor railway station. It's a stretch applying WP:NTS. We already have an article at TransMilenio. Not every smaller component of TransMilenio warrants its own page. Otherwise we would be writing articles on every single bus route or bus stop, etc. The system as a whole I could buy being covered under that policy, but not its small parts.4meter4 (talk) 04:54, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Minzu railway station (Inner Mongolia)

Hi, yes unsourced 15 years back. But not very difficult to source... I think I am lucky with a bit of patience and perseverance... I feel some of these AfDs could be saved. But I guess it is part of the process to keep the Wiki going with verifiable, notable articles only... Pages on Railway stations, which do not have easy access on internet, need a wiki page, so that those one in a million who search should get the news... reliable ones. My humble cent on this... The Chinese version of the article states that it's in Tangshan–Baotou railway, while this version states that it's in Beijing–Baotou railway. Nighfidelity (talk) 11:51, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Could it be the same station? Tangshan is close to Beijing, so it's conceivable those railways overlap. The route maps in the railway articles' infoboxes list a few of the same stations around Minzu. —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 15:07, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at various maps [2] [3], it seems the two railways are next to each other in this area. I guess sources may be using them interchangeability because of that. I am able to confirm there are no other stations with the same name in Mainland China (there is one other station with same name in Taiwan), so whatever sourcing you found was likely for this station in question.
