Katibat al-Sheikh al-Emireen (Arabic: كتيبة الشيخ الأميرين, romanized: Al-Sheikh Al-Emireen Batallion) Is a Palestinian Salafi jihadist group based in the Gaza Strip.

editThe group claimed responsibility for three rocket attacks on the Israeli town of Nir Oz on 11 May 2021.[2]

Wajdi al-Hajj Ali was the spiritual leader of the Druze of the Syrian city of Sahnaya.
Life
editHe was a member of Men of Dignity, a Druze militia[5] and was also the Druze spiritual leader of Sahnaya.[4]
Death
editAli was shot in the head in the city of Sahnaya on 30 April 2025 during the 2025 Rif Dimashq clashes and taken by ambulance to the hospital where he died.[6][7][8]
He was mourned by the Sheikh al-Karama Forces, a Druze militia, which offered a statement after he died.[6][9][10]
