Naive Song Claims
editThere are a few points in this article that I think need to be changed. First, the article claims that Mirwais Ahmadzai created the first song to utilize auto-tune on the complete vocals, but the sources listed do not support this claim, and I was unable to find any other sources that supported this claim (except for the artist himself). I am going to remove this line and the sources cited. Here are the sources in case they can be used in any other ways: [1] [2] --Fgorm1 (talk) 23:39, 4 May 2021 (UTC)

Removing Opinionated Language
editI noticed that there is one instance of opinionated language in the article in the positive reception section. The line calls auto-tune a "crutch for poor vocals" and then states that that was the intended use of auto-tune. I am re-wording the line to be less opinionated. --Fgorm1 (talk) 23:46, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
Wrong Year
editIt seems the year of invention for Auto-Tune has been cited incorrectly as 1957, which is about 40 years off... Hildebrand only invented it in 1997. I've now corrected the errors by replacing them with the correct years. Beldarius (talk) 00:30, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
Title
editRemove the hyphen from the title. The brand is now going by "AutoTune" not "Auto-Tune" AutoTune123 (talk) 19:50, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

Auto-Tune → AutoTune – Per the post above (perhaps courtesy of AutoTune themselves...), it seems AutoTune (no hyphen) is now the name of the product. Popcornfud (talk) 12:12, 11 May 2026 (UTC)
- Move to remove hyphen. It's clear from the company's website the hyphen is now relegated to discontinued products. At the bottom of the website, both AutoTune and Auto-Tune are listed as trademarks. They changed, and now we can change. Binksternet (talk) 14:29, 11 May 2026 (UTC)
- Move per Binksternet. HRQ (talk) 23:34, 11 May 2026 (UTC)
