Apparently LiveJournal like you to put a warning in your biography if you post about things of an 'adult' nature. So here's my warning: all children can fuck off, right now.
LJ Abuse suggest that users post their emergency contact information in an easily available place, locked to 'private'. I've done it, because you're better safe than sorry.
Since a few people have asked this: I don't mind if you add me to your friends list, but I won't automatically add you back. I only add people to my friends list that I actually want to read, and who I'm willing to trust with my occasional friends-locked posts. I don't care who adds me to their lists, because it doesn't have any affect on me at all (and I'm slightly less pathetic than those people that go 'OMG!!!1! take me off your friends list, like, NOW!1!!!').
