This w/e I've been chilling out to Pedulum demos while revising. So far "Immersion" sounds like it's going to be awesome.

Easily my fav is "Watercolour".  After seeing the the raw for Durarara! ep.18 though I had another listen and the lyrics fit Kida so much it's not even true!

{Can be seen as a continuation of This post}

Haven't been feeling that great lately, stupid energy-leeching viruses will do that to you I guess, so my sleeping pattern's gone completely haywire. I woke up particularly early this morning which actually meant that I able to watch the dawn chorus, chilled drink in hand and jazz music playing in the background. The birds in our garden are so relaxed that one of them even settled right outside my window and sung to me, it was an amazing experience.

Ironically enough I was reading nostrum_ago's fanfic You know those early mornings  last night. I only remembered when I started writing down this mornings experience and then I thought I might end up taking the little descriptive piece and make it into a fiction. Hmm, the hardest thing will be trying to find a character for it though so who knows...

I actually only heard this song for the first time when I was on my course earlier this year. I was really surprised, it doesn't sound like Mika at all. Anyway, whenever I've heard it since it just reminds me of everyone I met and stuff but as we've all parted this song is doubly bittersweet for me.

Unfortunately, I think it's an all too familiar and true description of how things can be for people and the world.

Okay...so it's not as if I even own a DS or anything but I seriously *love* the music from this game! The artwork seems pretty edgy too, although from the sound of it the plotline pwns everything else. <3

My kind of game, then. ^^

A Lullaby for You ~ by Jyongri

Like most of the music from World Ends With You, it sounds unique and amazing but this is definately my favourite piece. So calming & it's particularly beautiful when sung in English because you get the meaning of the lyrics, which are wonderful. ^^

Tsuki no Akari - the main theme from Final Fantasy IV, which like other early FF titles has been given a polish up for a DS re-release.

I really love this theme, Ida's voice is so mellow and soothing. I love how she and the pianist and violinst all blend their music together, the end result has a really dreamy quality which suits the "Medival fantasy" style of the game. <3

Each video has a link which will take you to the translation of each song. They're pretty cool, nothing surprising in the translations but it's good that they're so in character. Although I prefer to just listen to Marmon's without think of money, lol!

This next one isn't actually a song, but a Varia instramental and for Gola Moska no less. Yet despite this I actually love the dark atmosphere of this piece. Somehow, knowing the way in which Xanxus tried to take his father's life gives a whole extra edge of tragedy & creepiness to Moska.
