Soooo, I locked a number of my old fics, because I don't like them. One of the fics I wanted MOST to erase was The Running Play. For like... so many reasons. It's technically inaccurate, I was a baby fic writer when I wrote it, the characters are unlikeable. Also, it's about football. Who'd miss it?
Apparently, a lot of you. At least, I locked it maybe two weeks ago and got two messages about it within 24 hours, followed by more messages from different people every few days since. You all are very puzzling to me. You're also very kind and supportive. I don't want to take away a fic you like that much. But I also can't think about it being public without cringing. (I REALLY don't like that fic.)
So what I'm gonna do, when I have time (because real life is busy as heck right now), is edit the parts I most dislike, until I can hopefully rework it into something I don't hate, without having to write the whole thing over again. I hope that's fair. It will require some patience. But the story will be better for it, I think.
Anyway, thank you all for being so wonderfully odd that you continue to enjoy my fics after all these years. You all are cool.
