Fixed Cycles (Jay/Moses, 1/1)
So what's been going on with me? I have changed fandoms, sad to say--expect to see a lot more Homestuck fic here and on my AO3, as I discover the joys of porning underage aliens!
I do plan to finish up Left to Lose--although I don't know about the sequel I had planned--and there will be a few Halfwayverse ficlets, some other Jay/Moses stuff I had on the burner, and maybe And Carry Me Home Again to come, but at the moment I am really attempting to clear out my backlog more than anything else. Once I've done that, I don't think I will be writing Legendia regularly anymore, sad as that thought is.
Some stories beg to be told, though. This is one of them.
Title: Fixed Cycles
Characters/Pairings: Jay/Moses, also some Jay/Solon
Summary: It's not enough; none of it is enough. Jay only admits it to himself in the darkest hours of the night, but the course they are on is unsustainable. One day—and he doesn't know how far off that day is but it will come—one day they're going to fight again, and the tottering half-overtures they make towards one another won't hold them together anymore. There's a chasm there that neither of them has been able to bridge.
Notes: This is a Halfwayverse fic, but that basically just means Jay and Shirley used to date.
This fic contains depiction of an abusive relationship with sketchy sexual undertones and a hefty dose of emotional manipulation. (and by that I mean it has Solon in it)
