Weezer Nerd

Hey I know this isn't a rentals community...but I figured it's close enough, right?

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had return of the rentals and wouldn't mind uploading? I have seven more minuets and all of weezers stuff if anyone wants to trade :)

There's a new Weezer song in the movie 21 which I want to say is called Everybody's Dangerous but I hadn't even noticed until I was watching the credits and noticed their name and then raced to see the song title. It's not on the official 21 soundtrack so I'm guessing it's from the new album possibly?

Can someone PLEASE send me "Say it ain't so" and any version of "Jamie" (acoustic or not)? Lost mine due to hard drive issues and I'm having a hard time getting good versions of them.

has anyone seen the 'beaches.com' commercial where they use a terrible cover of island in the sun? it made me cry a little.

so i am sure all of you know about the rentals and how they got back together last year
well they have released a new ep and it is rather amazing they are also currently on tour so you should go check that out too






so if any of you had any doubt that the rentals could actually make a succesful comeback well this ep should finally put all of those doubts to rest as it is just perfect in almost every way for a preview you can check out their myspace page to hear the first track
the ep has 4 songs 3 of which are completely new songs with the final track being a beautiful retake of sweetness and tenderness
it is more like matts solo stuff than the previous stuff put out by the rentals
but i love this new version of sweetness and tenderness well i like the older one just as much

Hey Weezer Fans!  (X-posted in the_weez)

I am a starving college student, like most are. However, I am so so short on moolah that I'm willing to part with my dearest weezer cds/mementos, many of which are RARE and you won't be able to find them anyplace, not at a decent price anyway.
I figured I'd offer you guys some of the CDs before I go and sell them on ebay to someone heartless that would not appreciate them. Feel free to offer me anything, but I am poor and not in the mood to go much lower than what's posted.

This of course is the first wave, there will be 2 or 3.

Also, if you're interested, I have other =w= related music (i.e. all Special Goodness stuff and Space Twins) and some hard to find, awesome =w= bootlegs. Comment if you'd like me to post them!

About 4 weeks ago or so, on One Tree Hill's season 4 finale... I heard a FAMILIAR song. BUT it wasn't Weezer EXACTLY. But it was their SONG!

An artist called MoZella (She has been played a little bit on One Tree Hill) has covered "Say It Ain't So."

And you guys can hear her cover of it on her myspace.

it's not too bad.I think it even brings a little more edge and emotion to the song. At least the way she sang the song.

so i dont know how many of you are rentals fans or not
but they just released a new ep it is out as a digital release right now
and will be physically released in august
they are also going to be touring the us this summer
it should be really exciting and for those of you who have not yet
given them a listen now.
