For example, on reducing the sharing of misinfo across platforms. Disabling sharing or breaking a link to a video with potential misinfo would certainly block a lot of off-platform views. But could that also be a step too far in taking away a viewer’s freedoms?

3. Curbing misinfo in 100+ countries in dozens of languages can be challenging with differing cultural norms. We’re looking to update models for hyperlocal misinfo and further invest in regional teams and partnerships around the world.

2. Breaking the link or disabling sharing could effectively block cross-platform spread of misinfo, but potentially restrict viewers' freedoms. We’re also thinking through whether interstitial warnings could be an effective approach.

1. Fresh misinfo often lacks content to train our ML systems on - so we’re getting even more targeted with new keywords and info from regional analysts. And we’ve also been exploring new labels when there isn’t enough trusted content available.
