How to Use Chart Studio
Chart Studio lets you compare climate and weather data across any combination of locations and metrics — then download a publication-ready chart in seconds. Follow the steps below to get the most out of it.
Choose your locations

Use the Select Locations panel on the left to search for any city or region worldwide. You can add up to 10 locations at once for side-by-side comparison. Start typing a city name in the search box and select from the autocomplete results.
Pick your climate metrics

Select one or more weather metrics from the list — including temperature, precipitation, humidity, wind speed, sunshine hours, UV index, and more. You can mix multiple metrics on the same chart to reveal correlations across different weather variables.
Choose a chart type

Switch between a Line chart — ideal for showing seasonal trends over the course of a year — and a Bar chart, which makes month-by-month comparisons between locations clearer at a glance. The chart updates instantly when you change the type.
Customise colours & series

Use the Chart Options panel to personalise the colour of each data series and toggle the chart legend on or off. You can also switch individual series between line and bar styles for mixed-type charts, giving you fine-grained control over how the data is presented.
Edit the chart title

Click the pencil icon next to the chart title to give your chart a descriptive name. A meaningful title is embedded in the downloaded image, making it easy to share and reference. Press Enter to save or Esc to cancel.
Download your chart

When you are happy with your chart, click the Download button in the top-right of the chart panel. This saves a high-resolution PNG image of your chart — complete with title and watermark — ready to use in reports, blog posts, social media, or presentations.
