We Love New York

Wow this community seems dead, but anyways for anyone who still may read it. I'm from Syracuse NY lived here all my life. Its alright. But anyways just wanted to say hey!

hsa anyone here lived in both New York and California? i just moved to California and i am debating whether i should return to NY. i really miss NY like you wouldn't believe, but the cold weather makes me never want to go back.

Hey, I just joined this community.

My name's Barbara (Barb), I'm actually in east central Florida right now, but I'll be moving up in 15 days to Elmira. I was born and raised here... Anyhow, I've never been to NY before and I don't really know the area. The closest I've been to/in NY was passing through by train to get to Vermont. I'm trying to do a bit of research and I'd like to hear from you guys what's in the area, where's hiring, etc. I'd really appreciate the help :) Thanks.

Hello! This community is a great idea! Even though I was born and raised in the city, I now live in Westchester (still work in the city), I don't think I ever plan on moving back.
