Announcement

We’re sad to announce that we will be closing this community. We’ve enjoyed your company tremendously but having lost one of our witches, along with her insightful reviews, the two of us don’t feel like we have the time, skill, or inclination to go on without our friend.

We'll leave the posts up for another week in case any of you want to rescue your comments. Many of you contributed such brilliant thoughts on the shows we all watch that you may want to preserve them. Unfortunately, some of the original posts with their comments were lost before we had a chance to make this announcement. For this, we apologize.

Thanks for the time you spent with us.

Weekly Roundup No. 2

First of all, welcome to our first non-witchy commenters, alliterator, fickledame, spectralbovine and twop_tjl! We love you! Come back often, bring friends!

Quick links to last week's discussions and reviews:

On Sunday, October 26th, inigo wrote a review of Merlin 106: A Remedy to Cure All Ills. The discussion proved short, but lively.

On Monday, October 27th, funky_donut posted her review for True Blood's 8th episode, The Fourth Man In The Fire. The show continues to be a favourite with all three witches and was the week's clear participation winner with 71 comments.

Tuesday, October 28th, also saw two posts: the first was inigo's discussion opener for Chuck 205, Chuck Vs. Tom Sawyer. The witches all adore Chuck, although opinions differ on Zachary Levi's subjective hotness. They are, however, united in their hatred for Morgan Grimes, and their adoration for the Awesomes - really, it would be embarrassing, if these weren't Captain Awesome and Ellie Bartowski.

Of course, the second post dealt with old favourite (or, in some cases, I'm-puzzled-why-I-still-watch-this-and- even-mostly-enjoy-it) Heroes. funky_donut presented her review of Episode 307, Eris Quod Sum. Suffice to say, whatever the individual witches' opinions on the show itself, we were all very glad that Collapse )

On Wednesday, October 29th, funky reviewed The Mentalist, both the show in general and the fifth episode, Redwood. Grim will try to catch up with the show, so we can discuss it in our usual relative harmony soon.

Saturday, November 1st, was a special day for the lovely Ms. F-D: happy birthday funky_donut!

This was our week in review, we hope you had fun catching up, and stay tuned for the weeks to come.
