So it turns out that apparently human beings need to sleep, and stuff like that. I KNOW, WEIRD, RIGHT?

So, despite many valiant efforts on the part of all, the end of the universe is currently cliffhanger'd paused, and will in fact resume tomorrow.

6 days later, The Sims Crystal is RED.
There is, also, An Evacuation Notice from your Bartenders.
The Space of Milliways is noticed to be in-flux.
L-Space is Acting up & Andrew has located a special copy of a special book.
Pink & Blue are in The Window, too.

February 21th [T-minus 2 Days & Counting]
The Gibson-coil pike has appeared.
Briefly, it rains meat, outside.
The veil between universes splits open & something falls into the lake.

February 22th [T-minus 1 Day & Counting]
Carl's Door has a Malfunction.

February 23th [AllPocalypse Now]

As Sophie reminded me, there are all sorts of sharp and pointy things in the forge that pups can borrow to fight the invading monsters. Teja has been making and experimenting with lots of weapons, so whatever you need that has a blade, point, or edge, it is most likely there. Much of what he makes is either early medieval -- swords, battle-axes, throwing-axes, arrows, daggers, Roman short swords, sahsis -- but he has learned a lot from various Japanese affiliated pups, so there will Japanese style weapons as well -- katana, naginata, throwing stars, kama sickles etc. -- and most of his occidental weapons are made of Japanese style folded steel.

Pcik whatever you want for your pup -- Teja will be proud if that sizeable arsenal he amassed over time is used to defend Milliways!

So I heard you like ominous?

As of this post, last_master is preparing to be legacied. As mentioned, it will remain open through the end of the slowtime period (March 7), at which time this Obi-Wan will be leaving. Since it will be in slowtime, there's nothing to stop a hypothetical new Obi-Wan apping and even having EPs before then.

This wasn't a decision I took lightly, believe me. It's just that I'd been hearing him less and less in recent years. "How's this different from the rest of your lot, Tux?" you may well ask. The difference is that I'd been hearing them just fine; I just wasn't having the energy to act at length on the ideas I had with them.

He had a good innings. I'll still be as around as I've been lately, don't worry.

Aw kriff. I promised myself I wouldn't cry...
