Is this true? Why is Sailor Moon so OP, and how can people know and measure that?
Okay so the thing about Sailor Moon is that she's basically Naoko Takeuchi's wish-fulfillment fantasy and a love letter to teenage girls everywhere. Usagi, a teenage girl, is the most powerful being in the universe and basically a deity who is capable of resurrecting and rebuilding the universe and everyone in it after it's been destroyed. She can vanquish evil beings and purify people who have been corrupted. She also literally creates a fairytale utopia on Earth with herself as the Goddess-Queen and gives everyone 1000 year lifespans.
And I think that's so beautiful and why Sailor Moon has impacted as many people as it has! In a world where male power fantasies are a dime a dozen, it's so refreshing to see a relatable, lovable young girl as the Chosen One.
And what makes Usagi even better is that she would rather use all of her vast power to heal and protect people. Usagi's greatest strengths- such as her empathy, ability to heal the hearts of others, and capacity to love and forgive- are things that are associated with traditional femininity. She would rather create than destroy.
If you ask me, that's why Sailor Moon is so incredibly OP and beats out male characters like the God-Emperor from Warhammer. Her greatest strength isn't her actual powers, it's her endless compassion, her ability to love, and her mental fortitude. She would rather befriend people and find a solution that works for everyone than fight.
She's the princess of my heart, now and always!

This question is what alot of people might ask when they come across my post so ill explain my reasons for liking this rare pair.
My Narrative reasons for liking the pair link to
Firstly Setsuna gets to experience the life Pluto never got to, it sort of builds up her arc more, because in the black moon arc Pluto struggled against the rules and laws of the world for her family. It would create an interesting conflict with the rest of the outer if Setsuna joined them primarily to moniter them.
Secondly its heavily implied that Pluto wanted a family. With it being practically in the text stated that she basically raised chibi usa in the future, and was into neo endy as well as envying the queen.
Thirdly Hotaru gains a semi trustable adult in her life, Serenity knows she needs one. It explains why Usagi would let the outers keep baby Hotaru although THEY TRIED TO KILL HER. [Listen I love Haruka and Michiru but i wouldn't exactly trust them with her after they tried to kill her even if they did redeem themselves the inners and outers interpersonal dynamics would have to improve before that.]
It further humanizes Souichi and adds more depth to his character as well and gives him more of a dynamic with the rest of the senshi and allows us to keep him in the story, as well as further flesh out his dynamic with his daughter.
Also Futher slapstick opportunities with hotaru and kaolinite. Kaolanite having one-sided beef with setsuna.
