Description:
A Doctor-Donna Novel, NaNoWriMo 2008

Once, there was a woman named Donna Noble, who had been the most important woman in all of creation. She unintentionally initiated a biological metacrisis with a Time Lord (or, well, a Time Lord's hand), making both of them half human, half Time Lord. And thus, they saved the universe. She saved the universe. The DoctorDonna. But her body was still human, and not meant to contain the mind of a TIme Lord, and she was going to burn from the inside out. It would kill her. So the Doctor wiped all her memories of him, so she could live, just a normal human, because if she remembered him, she'd die.

As it turns out, he was wrong and he was right. Donna was going to burn, but he hadn't taken into account a couple of important facts. 1) Donna had a Time Lord's mind, which is much harder to mess with, and makes it much easier to trick a poor psychic (like the Doctor). And, more importantly, 2) The metacrisis-Doctor was human. One heart, only as much of a Time Lord's mind as could be sustained by a human body, and one life. No regenerations. It stood to reason, then, that Donna received that particular gift of the Time Lords.

So a new Donna and a new Doctor have met, and gone out into the sky. Adventures await, in the form of aliens, disasters, history, exploding toasters, and a Time Lady who still has to adjust to not being human anymore. One thing is certain, though.

The universe has been waiting for them.
