Code Implementation Support Program

WADA first launched the Code Implementation Support Program (CISP) in 2020 to help World Anti-Doping Code (Code) Signatories prepare for implementation of the 2021 Code and International Standards. Now, in the lead up to implementation of the 2027 Code and International Standards, WADA is updating resources as well as creating new ones to help stakeholders prepare. 

New CISP resources available on ADEL 

The following CISP 2027 resources are available on the Anti-Doping Education and Learning (ADEL) platform: 

  • Presentations that provide an overview of the Code and International Standards, including what is new for 2027, what actions ADOs must take, and where WADA provides (or will provide) support 
  • Factsheets with an overview of the changes to the Code and International Standards 
  • Checklists for a quick reference of what Signatories need to do before a new Code and International Standards come into force 
  • Roles and responsibilities of WADA Stakeholder groups related to the Code, International Standard for Education, and International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions  
  • Recordings from WADA’s Regional Symposium for Europe and Africa Webinar Series as well as other pre-recorded webinars [coming soon!] 
  • A dictionary of all defined terms in the 2027 Code and International Standards 
  • A list of acronyms used in the Code and International Standards

2021 CISP resources still available 

To continue to support Signatories as it relates to the 2021 regulatory documents, WADA’s previously published CISP resources will remain available on ADEL during the transition period between updating resources in line with the 2027 Code and International Standards. These include:

New and Updated Resources 

CISP resources will continue to be updated and published on ADEL leading up to the 2027 Code and International Standards coming into force on 1 January 2027 and beyond.
