Paperback “The Chinese Character Decomposition Guidance Level 1” by Polina Shinkina

This Chinese Character Decomposition Guidance contains 174 decomposed Chinese characters of beginner’s level 1.

The character decomposition is a very important tool for learning and teaching the Chinese characters. The character decomposition shows availability of generally accepted radicals and character components in the Chinese character and does not substitute strokes or the stroke order in each separate Chinese character.

For the Chinese language learners decomposition makes the process of the Chinese characters study easy and pleasant, helps to understand the character structure and, consequently, quickly memorize and write them without experiencing any problems.

New Jars

It is perhaps time to retire the old jar
Half full by now of kitchen and/or bathroom nights
Inhaling and exhaling
Life's quips
Road bump
Tar sticky footprint
Snow salt calamity carpets
Ex this, ex that
Whiskey, wine
Anger, unnecessary hurt, frustration
And good things like sex
Life at 26, 27, days I say I'm 28 because I forgot
All of it the color of
Tide receded river sand
Decaying train tracks
Glowing honey sweet eyes.
We twist out caps on every time
We pull our caps over every time
It reeks, it is cold
The sensation of feeling: a sword with no grip, no guard.

Life -- I like you
This challenge,
This infinite series of change --
I shall keep you
Hinged, unhinged.
Pleated pants, ripped jeans, sequined gowns, baby soiled everything.
You are mine,
Or am I yours?
What of it?

A cigarette
A sip of diet soda
Cancer...
Cancer...
Suspended in Vlassic --
Big crunch since 1942 dill baby wholes --
Now in the trash can.
New days.
A new jar.

Dorms

How are the St. Monica and Katharine dorms?

I'm interested in knowing about
- air conditioning
- bathrooms? per floor. How many people do you typically share a bathroom with?

Any misc. info and pictures would be GREEEEEEEATLY appreciated.

Is there anything specific I should know before moving into the above dorms?

(no subject)

Hi, I'm going to be at Villanova this summer for PLUS (a pre-law summer residential program). Does anyone here have experience with the program? Is the campus air conditioned during the summer? What about dorms? I'm primarily concerned with Garey Hall. Also, I was just wondering what the on-campus dining situation and general feel of the school is like during the summertime?

What's on-campus dining like for vegetarians?

hello all

I'm a senior in high school and I'm going to apply to VU to eventually major in psychology. Is there any info you could give me about VU regarding the campus and academics? Thank you!

BTW, a friend of mine is also applying to go into business or law. Any information for him would be great as well.

Temporary housing?

Hello all,

I am a male law student who will be in Philadelphia from about May 29th through August 11th for an internship experience. I am looking around for a short-term place to stay and lay my head. I have very few requirements. Don't care if I live alone or with people, with partiers or studier... If anyone will be subleasing or has a spare bedroom and might be able to rent it out to me, please send me an email:

ralph.schofield@gmail.com

I am hoping to find something that (1) is near a SEPTA station so that I can take public transit to downtown and (2) has an available bed so I won't need to bring my own. I can always bring an air matress, I suppose.

Please let me know! Thanks.
