Burlington College

Hello!
I'm currently finishing my freshman year at DePaul in Chicago and I am looking to transfer. Burlington College is one of the few schools to catch my attention lately. I was hoping someone from BC wouldn't mind chatting with me a bit about their experience, what they like/dislike about it, etc.

I would REALLY appreciate it
:) Rachel.

Hi all, my name is Brittany, and I'm 18 years old from New Jersey. I've just been recently accepted to Southern Vermont College and I am interested in knowing more about the college/towns surrounding it. I am coming up to visit in a week, but I'd really like to know more about the atmosphere and if anybody else is planning on attending there too!  If anybody could help me out, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Question :o)

Hey everyone,

I go to grad school in Keene, NH, and my roommate and I are looking to move to the area. We're interested in Keene, Troy, Brattleboro Vermont, and other surrounding areas. I've checked out craigslist, but I'm wondering if there's anywhere else you guys might know where I could look for housing. :o)

Thanks!

Meghan

Incoming freshman of 2007.

Hello all!  Vermont looks like a gorgeous state, and their Green Party Congressman makes me even happier. : )  I'm looking into Johnson's State College for a bachelor of Science specializing in Naturpathic Medicine/Therapeutic Massage, etc.   I've looked up all I have on this school, but if you have any other suggestions for Liberal Arts School's that may be just as interesting, but cheaper for my basic education, that'd be lovely.

If you are going to JSC, who is your favorite prof?  I find teachers to be such an important part of my education, and I want to make sure I'm matched with the ones I will be capable of actually learning from.

Thanks!

kickass, pose, bitchin, paris, swell

when i'm a-walkin, i strut my stuff, man i'm so strung out

another prospie question:

I'm going to be visiting Bennington College on September 26th. I'm planning on doing the tour and the information session on the 27th; from any current students who have done these, anything to watch for?

Anything specific to look for when visiting the college and/or the surrounding area?

One more thing: what should I expect from the interview? Is it usually very school-based or "me"-based? Informal or not? ETC.

Sorry for all the questions; any other info is appreciated.

OK!

here's the deal. i'm a prospie, of course, and i've been really interested in bennington for a while now. the only thing that turns me off a bit is the lack of information on what many bennington graduates do after graduating.

frankly, i have my rational college choices narrowed down to the following: Hampshire College, Sarah Lawrence College, Eugene Lang College, Bennington College, Bard College, Skidmore College, and Boston College (as my reach).

If ANYONE can provide any advice on the general merits of any of these schools and how they compare with Bennington, I would appreciate it so much. I know I'm kind of pushing the content rules but I'm a little stressed over how quickly this summer is going by for me and how fast application time is approaching.

THANKS ALOT!

-Kevin
