She's Alive!!!

I now have net service again!!! I have so much to say here. I love you all and have worried like crazy about all of y'all. I'm going insane being cut off from y'all. I need my circle family. Life is not right without it. I apologize to anyone I got overly emotional with when I finally got in contact. I got REALLY weepy with the first few people I got in touch with. I just miss y'all so much. Things were really scary here for a while. Hearing a familiar voice on the phone was a lifesaver for me. I was glad to hear my friends were okay, but for a while I was worried I'd never see any of you again. I'm planning on going to BR this weekend to visit Laura, Alex, Nick & Wheels--that is, if they don't haul ass on this road trip I've heard rumors about. YOU MUST STAY IN BR UNTIL I'VE SEEN YOU. Grant me this one wish.

Home safe.

I was woken up this morning by BJ calling my phone. It was the first time my phone has rang since the hurricane hit. I was actually really confused because I was woken up and because it's been so long since I heard that noise. So anyway, he says that he my just go back to Kenner and live at his house till this whole thing dies down. Not sure how great of an idea that is, but that's his decision. He also told me to call Jaime. Jaime is back home in Destrehan. They have power and water, but no cable, so that's why she's not online. She asked me to post her home phone number so that we can call her. She wants everyone to call her to make sure people are ok.

School.

For all of you who are in the Houston area, there may yet be a chance for school for this semester. They are asking for a lot of documentation, but I'm hoping that they'll cut us some slack if we don't have it. I'm sure that your W-2 from last year is not your most prized possession, and was probably left at home in some eveelope on some shelf where you'll never have to see it if you don't want to.

i heard from justin - he's doing good

does anyone know what they're going ot be doing for school the next few months? it seems deadlines are fast approaching and in person is the way to apply. i really want to go back to school as soon as possible, but i also feel as tho i'll be needed home to help clean up and start putting my house back together.

lets get a discussion on this going - i would really like to know what the rest of you are planning on doing, and maybe we can keep updating the options we have on here.

if i decide to try to go to a school for the rest of this semester, i really dont want to end up somewhere were i dont know anyone - i dont think i could handle being alone at a new school right now. i need to be around my friends, at the moment - i'm stuck with family.

ugh - i'm just a bit lost at the moment. ok.
