“I know that, when we decided to go shopping together, I had a distinct plan for something I wanted to buy,” she replied. “And I know it was important. But all of the other stuff got in the way, and I wound up on a purchasing tangent.”
“Well, at least it wasn’t something really important, like groceries,” Rachel put in helpfully.
“Groceries,” Phoebe wailed. She smacked her own forehead. “Crap!”
