Virtus.pro is one of the most decorated and oldest esports clubs in the world, founded on November 1, 2003.

In 2007, Virtus.pro signed a Dota Allstars roster. In DotA, VP also often took top places in competitions, in particular, winning several tournaments in a row from the MYM Prime Defending series.

In 2009, the club disbanded all squads and went on hiatus, resuming its activities in April 2011. The basis of the revived club was the CS 1.6 Iron Will roster.

In 2012, VP transition from CS 1.6 to CS:GO. On January 25, 2014, the club signed the Polish five AGAiN. This roster won the first Major for VP — ESL One Katowice 2014.

At TI5, Illidan, God, DkPhobos, Lil and fng defeated one of the heavy favorites of the tournament, Team Secret, in the playoffs, which helped the Bears reach the top 5 in the main tournament of the year for the first time in history.

In 2017, Virtus.pro won their first Dota 2 Major. The roster featured RAMZES666, No[o]ne-, 9pasha, lil, and Solo.

In December 2019, Virtus.pro disband the Polish CS:GO team and sign the AVANGAR roster. Under the Virtus.pro tag, the team wins a large number of tournaments and is fixed in the world top.

On November 13, 2022, Virtus.pro CS:GO players (Jame, FL1T, Qikert, fame and n0rb3r7), playing under the neutral Outsiders tag, won the IEM Rio Major 2022 final in Rio de Janeiro, becoming world champions.

The Bears became world champions in Marvel Rivals after securing a victory at the MRI 2025: Grand Finals.
