Photos for a magazine ad...

I am currently piecing together a full page ad for the first issue of bucklemagazine http://www.bucklemagazine.com, If any of you have shot in Vesperi stuff recently or have a large professional image that you would suggest, email me at order@melissacoffey.com. It must be something that you and the photographer would give permission to print, obviously.

I have to have it this weekend

If it's something you have given me but want to remind me of, post a comment here. There are lots of images that get posted that I dont see.

P.s. Fiesty diva, I'd love to have something of the ones I did for you! I can do it inthe next issue or so if needed.

Assistants Please!

Ever Wanted To Work With Latex??

In response to Vesperi's consistent workload, I am seeking one or two more assistants to train and utilize in the studio.

These individuals must:
Possess an ability and understanding of basic garment construction
Really enjoy working with their hands and be able to manipulate fabric
Have an innovative approach to engineering and problem solving
Be reliable with deadlines and not be flaky about work

Other great qualities to have (but certainly not required):
Pattern drafting skills, or an understanding of how to follow patterns
ability to sketch and convey ideas
basic html and web design skills
Self managing, work from home, or be able to help with fashion shows or run events if needed
Networking, selling, partying in latex
hair, makeup, styling, photography

Does any of this sound like you? I really need a few extra hands that are ready to show up!

Hours are currently one or two days in the studio (even a 4 hour day) for training and work on existing projects.
Some things can be done at home, the better you are, the more you can be independent.
some daytimeor nighttime, weekdays or weekend.. we'll work out something you can do.

Pay is currently each time you work (if you helped me get ahead in the project... some days of training are unpaid or low pay) and completely based on the rate at which you did professional work. We look at it by piece and time and results so it is fair to everyone. When you start getting the hang of it, or if you just show up consistently, you will make money that is well worth your while!

And the great news is...Vesperi is a growing company! your contribution would enable us to take on projects that we must currently slow down or turn down, so you would immediately affect the productivity and profitability of the company. (can you say that for your dayjob?) This is an intimate work environment that is laid back but painstaking and all about making dreams into reality. We are also expanding our studio space and making it swank and modern. So come grow with us and see!!
