For those of you who are under the federal poverty line, there is a program called Take Charge that provides a year of free birth control to eligible individuals. Due to the budget crisis, this program will end in February 2011. People who enroll before February 28th, 2011 will still be able to receive the year of free birth control. This also includes birth control that lasts longer than a year, such as IUDs.

Hey DP! At this very moment, a bunch of g33ks in Beaverton are involved in a Donkey Kong Country Marathon to benefit the Child's Play Charity. Child's Play gives games and books to children's hospitals (including Doernbecher and Legacy) so the kids can have some fun and just be kids. You can tune in and watch the marathon and donate via ustream by going to donkeykongmarathon.com. Please donate if you can, and spread the word! They will be gaming nonstop all weekend and you can even win prizes for donating (A Kinect sensor plus much more!). You get an entry for every $20 you donate.

oh billy

anyone else miss outkast? damn

Hi there. Looking for a roommate. I'm a 23 year old guy going to school part time and working full time. I enjoy music/movies/food/adventures, basically everything normal people enjoy and then some. Not opposed to partying and whatnot, just prefer you know how to keep common areas clean and not live like a slob. That aside I'm pretty laid back and honestly if you just want to hang out in your room 24/7 that's cool too as long as you can come up with the rent on time. If anyone is looking or knows someone, by all means comment. Looking to move in by next month, something in the $300-500 range, that being with utilities included.

Yeah...I realize this is probably pointless considering livejournal has been dead for a while. I met a lot of awesome people through here though, so I figure it's worth a shot.
