a slashaholic

i haven't really been posting much to lj and never really started here at dw.  so, i decided that i will start posting more... and i think i'll post more of my crafty stuff here now :)

this is a cool ikea hack: someone crocheted a cover (or cozy) for a stool.  makes a boring little stool looks so much better!  i may try to do something this :) 

i really want to make a shawl.  i'm thinking either Gail (Nightsong) or Bitterroot.  i have a ball of yarn i think will work for either one.  but, i have a pair of socks that have been sitting, unfinished, since about oct 2009!  all i need are the cuffs. i had even bought the elastic string that i want to knit into the cuffs that will hopefully keep them from sagging.

ok. yes. i'm determined that i will have to finish the socks before i can start the shawl.

my brother is visiting from mexico this weekend so i'll probably try to finish the socks next week.
