regarding YRIC, im so excited for if (cough cough when cough cough) purple ends up being an imposter. specifically, im really excited for *how* you write it. will it still be third person limited perspective? will purples "voice" change any? how will it change? will they become aware of some new things that only imposters are privy to? will other things matter less (such as reds survival) or will they be warped and twisted? will we even see the loop, or will it be skipped as if purple was "murdered"? if it doesnt skip, what does it say about imposterism itself, in that an alien-imposter purple is still purple themself?
im wondering if it'll be an opportunity for us readers to learn more about the imposter mechanics and mentalities, maybe even the loop mechanics! if those arent covered already by that point.
im certain however you play it i'll be pleased as punch, its always such a pleasure to read a chrissy fic and im looking forward to seeing whatever you have up your sleeve! thank you for writing YRIC! i hope writing and experimenting with writing continues to be fun for you!!!

I’m going to keep joking “clearly I would not do something like that because it’s too mean” like I didn’t make the very first post about YRIC with the phrase “and Purple is imposter one of the loops”
I HAVE seen a lot of different takes on what exactly the nature of ‘being’ an imposter is. Owen Dennis confirmed Green and Orange got infected in episode 1 during the hull breach, so they WERE crewmates to start and became something else after infection. But there is a ton of interpretation flexibility in like, WHO is imposter!Green in relation to Green, etc?
I definitely have a very solid stance I’m taking in YRIC about imposter infections, as far as who and what the crewmate becomes, and what they’re experiencing.
Anyway though that clearly doesn’t matter because I’d never be mean enough to make Red or Purple the imposters at any point. *drops my this at you*

Edit: this has gotten a huge amount of traction (fibrearts tumblr is a, uh, tight-knit community it seems!) so I am adding this note to state that I checked Lola Cody's website and can confirm: There is no dye in her work. She uses exclusively hand-spun Churro wool sheared from her home-raised sheep flock. It's all natural colours!
