CONTENT WARNINGS.
The world of Westeros is terrible in many, many ways and the ruling class has a slew of problems, especially the Targaryens as they're essentially eating themselves alive.
Aegon is the first child of a child bride, who had him at the age of fifteen. He's suffered a lot of abuse at the hands of his mother and his grandfather—physically, emotionally, and mentally. As a baby, he was given alcohol, and was plied with it from a young age to keep him docile until he became dependent on it. Aegon was taken to a brothel as a child (thirteen) and forced to sleep with one of the women to "become a man" and has developed an unhealthy relationship with sex as a result. He abuses his status as a prince to sleep with people. He has violent tendencies. He was married to his sister at fourteen and expected to produce heirs.
While I am not wiping away the bad things he's done, Aegon is also a victim and barely of age for the majority of the show. I'm open to negative CR always (Aegon is a mess and likes to prod people), but I'm not interested in 'who is morally best' because everyone in this show has done terrible, evil things.

Personality.
Aegon is funny in that he's a hell of a lot smarter than most people give him credit for and he's just as broken as people assume. Raised by a mother who never quite loved him and a father who often and readily forgot he even existed, Aegon has self-esteem and identity issues, struggles to feel wanted or even just good enough, and acts out purely to get attention. He's eager and earnest, and he wants to be a good person, but his role models in that regard are lacking. It was never encouraged for him to care about people, and yet he does, genuinely, care for the smallfolk (in such a way as a royal can), and he wants to help them. He does have compassion for others, it's just easy to miss.
Self-medicating with alcohol, surrounding himself with yes-men, spending his nights in brothels, he does it all just for a moment to feel like a real person. He's jaded, and bitter, and desperate to be loved, even if he has to buy it in increments.
If he could, Aegon would simply run away and live a quiet life literally anywhere else.

SEXUALITY: Pansexual; Aegon doesn't really see any point in limiting himself, really, and sex is one of the few times he feels alive.

ATTIRE: Brocade, well-tailored, and expensive, almost always in a shade of green. Aegon's clothing all has gold dragons embroidered into it (done by his wife). Gold rings, and a necklace made of chain. The links might be gold, but they're heavy and large.
AURAL: High-born accent, bright, warm, teasing, and loud when he needs to be. Laughs often. Cracks when he's distressed or angry. Here are some scenes (warnings for spoilers, nudity, grief, death).
OLFACTORY: Wine, expensive floral soap, leather, iron, ash.
DEMEANOR: Flippant, sarcastic, easy-going. Talks with his hands often. Generally approachable, smiles widely, approaches genuine compassion and empathy. If upset, his rage is uncontrollable and he cries often and easily.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: While he's a scrappy fighter, and also trained in swordsmanship, Aegon isn't much of a combatant and will avoid a fight if at all possible.
ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS: Unlikely. Aegon is guarded and resistant to forming genuine attachments to people in spite of his need for affection and love. Growing up neglected and abused has made it difficult for him to seek comfort in other people in a lasting, healthy way.
SEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS: Though married, he's not adverse to affairs. It will never be a loving thing and he doesn't want to know your name, and don't expect that to ever change.

PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: No barriers to psychic reading/telepathy.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: Targaryens all have magic in their blood, though Aegon himself isn't fully aware of it nor can he utilize it for anything. This blood magic is what binds them to and allows them to bond with dragons.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: In general good health, with a few scattered scars. Aegon is an alcoholic in the most negative sense, as he's been given alcohol since he was a literal baby, so he becomes irritable and suffers from debilitating headaches if sober.
