a 25-year-old pervert that can only be spotted randomly {if at all}; keeps her territory for friends only {who doesn't with all of those small minded people out there}; has too many interests to list {hence never updates them};
is too old to angst and play drama queen {does all that in real life}; occasionally shares her attempts at writing here {nowadays barely at all}; talks about shows and movies no one watches {only when the mood strikes};
has weird moodswings {connected to the full moon? = werewolf... errr werecat???}; has kinky thoughts, habits and playmate {a manly pink bunny vibrator called the Kurgan, errr, because Kurgan is so manly in Highlander}; likes scarily cute things {like the Prinnies in Disgaea, or the Nightmare Before Christmas};
THE MAD HATTER
loves costume parties {best costume ever: vampire little red ridinghood}; also loves corsettes and boots {owns too many of both}; is too staightforward with people {hence an emotionless non-cool jerk};
has strange opinions {reality is more boring anyway}; is a sexual predator posing as a housepet {totally in denial about it too aka stil innocent and pure}; loves her life {has a steady kitchen slave that cooks, serves & cuddles... and more};
likes her men big and manly {and with unapproriate humour that outsmarts hers any day}; sees no reason anyone would friend her after reading this list anymore {well you can't have everything, now can you?};
is writing this at 3 am {better cuddle up with the Kurgan soon or else... brains... will... diminish... to zero... where they... already are?}
NIKITA - I was a fan of the original Luc Besson movie, and even liked the American remake with Bridget Fonda once upon a time. I didn't like La Femme Nikita's portrayal of her (from the little I saw of it), so when the CW announced a new Nikita, I was first in line to watch it. The pilot was solid enough, and I certainly liked where they were going with the series, but by the end of the first season I was irrovocably hooked. Maggie Q was perfectly cast as Nikita because she can do action, comedy and drama surprisingly well. Also because she's believable in her role. The supporting players are also suberb, especially Birkoff, Owen, Ryan, Percy, Amanda... The show often grabbles plotlines that're deeper and manages to build suspense. It reduces me to a fangirl, which is something a lot of femaledriven action shows have failed to do in the past. I just love this to bits.
FRINGE - I didn't instantly fall for Fringe. I actually started watching it, but even with my childhood Joshua Jackson crush, I found it progressing a bit too slow for my tastes. It was the first half of the second season that suddenly sucked me in for good. The show became epic as the backstories and central dilemmas started to make sense. We got more character for Olivia, more purpose for Peter, more drama for Walter and a cool core idea that the show started to expand. This really is my favourie weird science show. I love the characters and the world they're in. Plus the Other Side has turned my love into undying devotion. I can't wait for the final season, even if season four wasn't my favourite by far. White Tulip kind of cemented the status of this show for me with the excellent writing, acting and production. I'll never know why John Noble hasn't won an Emmy for this show yet...
THE ECHOES
COMMUNITY - This one is crazy. Like really crazy. But I love their pop culture references. I love the characters and I always laugh aloud. Community is really quirky and fun, and it feels like it was made for us geeks. No one's perfect, and the show does have a dark edge to it as well, but the characters grow and evolve. Also I can relate to Abed so much...
2 BROKE GIRLS- The show has been critiqued for its inapproriate humor a lot, but I love watching this. Kat Dennings and Beth Behr make for a good on-screen comic duo, and the show has my kind of humor. I like that the cast isn't 100% white and we have minorities present, even though the joke's often at their expense (then again, no one is safe in this show, so...) Max Black is like my spirit animal. I can relate to her cynism so well.
HART OF DIXIE - I like this show. It's cheezy as hell, clichéd and simple, but for some reason it reminds of me the good old days of the WB. I like watching this on Mondays, and relaxing. Rachel Bilson isn't exactly my favourite actress but she's likable enough. It's the rest of the characters that really make me smile, like Wade, Lemon, Lavon... So I watch HOD to balance my other angsty shows and because it's fun.
