A/N - I thought about which part I should post next, whether to post the part that comes after Midnight, or whether to go back to 'the beginning'. I decided that the beginning was probably best or I'd have headaches trying to fit it in somewhere as a flashback later.

I'm going to go from now and post what I have in (mostly) chronological order, (not 'prompt' order or it would be too all over the place). However, there are several of the associated 'prompts' I have not completed and there are still gaps in the story that I could possibly fill in with those, so I may add in other parts later if inspiration strikes. I'll see how it goes. (If something *is* out of order I'll make a note on the chapter - really I'm playing this by ear now.) XD

As a reminder - My takes on YGO are usually a pick&mix of Anime and Manga canons, with a touch of Season 0, some influence from YGOTAS, a bit of Fanon and my own personal headcanons thrown in here and there for good measure. I don't tend to bother with DSOD - not that it was even a thought when this was written anyway. ^_^'

A/N - oh look it's been months since I posted any of this. First I started posting on FFN, got a few chapters in, hit the chapters I would have to edit together to take the smut out - and stalled.

I was also ill around that time (might have been COVID... couldn't get a test... did the *shrug* guess I'll die, then didn't die). That, along with stalling on FFN, seriously killed my motivation. I've been trying to get myself to do this for months... LMAO.

I also realised that although the fic was *mostly* finished, it wasn't quite as finished as I thought it was, and the fact that I don't like to start posting things I haven't finished at least the first draft of also added to my loss of mojo. I have now hand written the rest of the fic in a notebook which I need to type up. It's still not *quite* finished, but I'm confident I only have the epilogue to go now. (I know what I want to happen there, but getting it on paper... LOL - I'll get there.)

A/N - Twice as long as usual - because there's never a good place to cut when the smut starts. XD

Also taken a bit longer because I wasn't happy with some of it, it's smut, and I had a headache for a couple days. (Still not completely happy but it is what it is and I can always have another look at it later.)

Ah, why am I explaining? Nobody is reading this anyway. However, I have resolved that I will start posting this on either FFN or AO3 before posting the last few chapters, probably starting on Jan 1. (This is mainly due to the fact that the last couple of chapters need re writing - or just writing full stop as all I have is notes for the last chapter. I do know how I want to finish it, so that's one thing...)
