Hi all; I know this journal's kind of dead but I'm hoping maybe someone can help me out? If this breaks rules or manners, mods, please feel free to take this down.

So I watched Doom recently, and during the preparation documentaries, it struck me how hotly competent Karl Urban looks with a gun. I'd love to find something with Karl just being badass with a gun. Zombies, apocalypse, some kind of AU - I don't care. But I can't seem to find one anywhere. Which, frankly, astounds me; the man has played a marine, an assassin, a CIA agent, captain of a spaceship and a Wild West sheriff! So I'm hoping that someone's read something that they can rec me. Pretty please? Thank you everyone!

Does anyone know what happened to this fantastic fan fiction archive called urbanreveries? I think the website is called www.urbanreveries.net but when I click it or search it on google, it's giving me rubbish. I feel like I've lost a huge part of the KU fan fiction resource.

Notes: A most ridiculously late birthday fic for my darling giselleslash. I think I managed to get most of your prompts in there, but the guys sort of wandered off on their own tangent. Go figure. I HEART YOU!!!

I do hope this is allowed, because I am growing somewhat desperate.

I've just rewatched Ghost Ship again as I am now a huge fan of Karl Urban, and of course being the fanfic fanatic that I am, I went seeking fic... only to find nothing! Well, ok, I found a few fics, but the problem is that I'm a slash and gen sort of reader, het just makes me want to tear my hair out, no matter how good it is I just can't bring myself to read it.

So I've had a look on Fanfiction.net, found nothing of interest, adultfanfiction, same deal, and what I have read is Light at Dawn of the beginning series, and a preamble slash fic about Munder and Dodge.

There just seems to be a lot of scope for premovie fic, you know, why is munder wearing the wrist bandage? How did he end up working in the ship? I really would like to read some fic about him, but I'm having no luck on google so if you know of any fics I'd be real pleased to hear about them.

If you haven't heard, Geocities is closing on October 26, 2009. Geocities has played an important role in the history of the Karl Urban fandom. On Fan History Wiki, we want to help chronicle the history of this fandom on Geocities before it is lost forever. We'd love to have you involved.

If you can edit any of the existing articles in the Karl Urban fansites on Geocities category, we would really appreciate it. What role did that fansite play in the fandom? When was it created? When was it last updated? Who did it serve? Where did it move to or why isn't it moving to a new home?

We know that our list of fansites isn't complete. We would love for you to create articles about the fansites we haven't gotten to yet. Template:fansites, Template:fan fiction archives just need to be copy and pasted in to a new article with the name of the article. Then fill out the information and hit save. If you're not comfortable creating an article from scratch, then please edit the information about the fansite (like dates, webmasters, archivists) to the Karl Urban fandom article.
