My husband and I are moving to Greenville next week...I would love to know what goes on in the area for St. Patrick's day...as I'm very Irish and very worried that I won't know what fun things there are to do in Greenville on March 17th :o) I welcome any and all suggestions and yes we do drink! We will actually be living in the SImpsonville/Fountain Inn area, so anything closer to there would be awesome as well!
Okay soo I'll be in Greenville this weekend staying & I'll be staying in the downtown area.
I'm not really familiar with downtown Greenville & was wondering if there were any neat little gift shops, coffee houses, etc. Maybe even websites to these places? (if possible)
I'd really appreciate it!

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I just moved to Greenville a few weeks ago. My husband accepted a job here and we've wanted to try living somewhere besides Columbia. I've been busy trying to find a job (ask me how unhelpful the temp agencies have been), I'm just interested in getting to know other locals and find out what's hot, what's not etc...
My name is Crystal. I'm 29. We have 3 dogs (boston terrier, chihuahua, mutt) and a cat. I'm a complete geek that is obsessed with Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly/Serenity). Other interests are graphic design & home improvement. Hubby & I have taken this move as the opportunity to have a lifestyle change and have started working out together (walking/jogging every morning) so that is taking a lot of my focus right now. We're pretty easy going people. Hang out at home a lot but like to take our dogs out and about. Love to discover pretty outdoorsy places (like State parks). We only drink socially (ocassionally) and we're nonsmokers. And in the not-so-distant future we hope to be starting our own business.
So, look forward to meeting you all and learning more about Greenville.
