What Are You Busy Becoming?

We are excited to announce that pre-registration for the Maine Youth Summit 2005 is still available!
This year's theme is: Busy Becoming.

This year's Summit will be held June 25-26 at Hebron Academy in Hebron, Maine. We are honored to announce that this year's Keynote will be transgender activist, organizer, and writer, Leslie Fienberg! There will be lots of great workshops on the issues of safer sex, HIV/STDs, body image, activism, and more! There will also be a dance on Saturday night with Portland's D.J. Kate.

The Maine Youth Summit is an annual event for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and straight allied youth. The Maine Youth Summit provides a place for youth 22 and under to come together for a weekend with other youth from around the state and to educate themselves about the health issues of GLBTQQA young people.

The Summit, planned by youth from around the state, is funded through Portland Outright by the Bureau of Health.

You may contact outright@outright.org to request a pre-registration packet.
