Friends Only

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Well, I am friends only, obviously. If you wish to be friended, leave a comment stating who you are and how/if I know you. Just because I'm a friendly person doesn't mean I will friend everyone back. The whole point of going friends only is so that really only people I know get to read this. If we've met, or if there's a chance we will meet (that is, we live in the same city or you know one of my friends really well, etc), then I will add you. If I don't know you and you leave comments like, "oh em gee, u totally don't know me but i think we'd get along so great!!!", odds are I'll just delete the comment without even replying. Not trying to be mean or anything, just telling everyone where it's at. Also! My LJ is my confessional. I write everything and anything I want to in it. It's often very personal and very detailed. Read at your own risk. I do generally put cuts up and warn if anything's going to get uber personal.

I have a new banner! Though my last one was made by the lovely jaig and it was beautiful, I figured it was time for a change and I found this one my friend Kim made for me ages ago. It's also beautiful. The picture is of me (*is vain, apparently*) but I just like the pretty colours. Thank you so much, do_not_blink. It's gorgeous.

One last try!

I bought tickets to the Diacon Convention in London in July and to the Ball and now can't go, but am being refused a refund for it. It sucks because I thought I read when I bought the tickets that refunds would be available less a processing fee. Apparently I was mistaken. Sooo, now I'm out 70 pounds ish which is a lot more when converted to Canadian.

What I'm hoping is that someone will purchase them off me and I can just request to have them converted to someone else's name, which they said they can do. Does anyone need a ticket? I'll sell both for cheaper than what you can purchase through the site.

Soooo... anyone need any last minute tickets? I'll sell them cheap, because otherwise I get nothing for them.

If you or someone you know is interested, please pass on my info. I can be reached via email at alieandvixx (at) gmail.com. Please spread the word to anyone in the UK who was maybe waffling on going but didn't want to spend the money.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if I'm on anyone's flists anymore since I rarely update here, but I suppose it can't hurt to try. Posting here in my journal and also in the few fandom comms I'm still in just in case.

So!

Please help. I'm saving money for a down payment for a house, which is why I can't come, and every penny counts. Plus, it just seems so unfair to have to pay for tickets to something I'm not attending when I requested a refund five months in advance. Pity me!

If yes, contact me by commenting here, or emailing me at alieandvixx@gmail.com.

Thanks in advance if anyone is interested.

Okay. Time for a non-flocked entry.

So. My flist was huge. Like, really huge; or at least, too huge for me. So, I decided to trim it down. I love all of you muchly, but if I rarely talk to you or couldn't remember how I know you or whatnot, I took you off. And I'm probably going to be doing more cuts too. I'm sorry. If you want to be on my flist, just say so! I'm not trying to be mean or cool or anything, I just felt like I never got a chance to read any of my flist because it was so huge.

So! Um. That is all.
