The thing is, I do think Kris and Sans could get along very well because they’re very similar people. They’re both the more reserved siblings of an extrovert, they’re both very private people who have a lot going on that we never really see in-game, and they both have a love for pranks and practical jokes. Sans also did help out with chores when he spent the night at Toriel’s, so he’s clearly very respectful of the Dreemurr household and he isn’t just some bum Toriel brought home because she thought he was funny. I do think they could grow to appreciate each other over the course of Deltarune, and I think it could be an interesting direction to take things, but also, Kris is going through A LOT, and while Sans Deltarune has no way of knowing this, (Undertale is a bit of a different story since that version of Sans is Built Different) it’s just a really bad time for him to be getting involved with the Dreemurrs, especially when Kris is still reeling from their parents’ divorce.

Why is it that every time I google something like "Are olives poisonous to cats" the top results are always like "Fun fact: Cats are carnivores! This means that they eat meat. There is no reason to include olives in a cat's diet. You should feed your cat cat food, which is dry or wet food especially designed for cats. You can purchase this at a store." like is there a single person alive on the planet who's googled "Are blueberry muffins safe for cats" because they're planning on switching their cat to a muffin-only diet??? No, I'm asking because the little bastard somehow popped open the packet while I was putting away the groceries and dragged one under the couch before I could react and now I need to know if I should call the after-hours vet. "Cats should not eat spaghetti." NO SHIT, SHERLOCK!!!! "Try to keep human food away from cats." i live in a studio apartment with a completely silent and permanently hungry apex predator who has the intelligence of a toddler and the desperate Machiavellian cunning of a creature who spent his formative months on the streets. He can already open doors and he is this 👌 close to learning how to open the microwave. He is stronger than me and covered in knives. So im gonna do my best but for the moment i just need you to tell me whether this yoghurt is going to kill my son y/n

I've been using the pet poison hotline's poison list cause it has a search function. It also tells you whether something is mildly, moderately, or severely toxic which can be very handy! It doesn't contain like everything but it might be a good place to start, it also includes plants for fellow houseplant lovers <3

For plants specifically, there’s also a wildly detailed set of posts and listings about toxicity on the old, wonderful, Plants Are the Strangest People blog

White fantasy & historical fiction fans LOVEEE to act like everywhere within the modern boundaries of what is considered Europe was surrounded by a magical forcefield that kept everybody with a skin tone darker than computer paper out until about the year 1600.

Just to remind everybody:

  • Medieval Europeans knew that brown people existed and many interacted with them (the Crusades were ongoing during much of this time, come on now)
  • Early Modern Europeans knew about brown people from all sorts of places and even interacted with them in ways outside of slavery and brutal colonization (read Black Tudors: The Untold Story by Miranda Kaufmann)
  • Ancient Greeks & Romans knew about brown people. They wrote them into their mythology (Andromeda was an Ethiopian princess but if you cast anyone browner than Zendaya as her in a movie, you would give half of twitter an aneurysm). In fact, many of them were brown people. Keep in mind the boundaries of the Roman empire at its largest extent:

  • Ancient Egypt, over the many centuries of its existence, had citizens and rules of many different skin tones. From relatively paler Greeks like Cleopatra to the Kushite pharaohs of the 25th Dynasty
  • Victorian England had lots of brown people. It was the center of a massive global empire, it'd be weird if there weren't brown people in it.
  • The unfinished Jane Austen novel Sanditon includes the character Miss Lambe, a 17 year old racially mixed heiress from the West Indies.

I was just in shock a second ago about how Deadpool & Wolverine is 2 years old already but then I remembered that the same day I saw it in theatres I got very ill right after leaving the cinema and got a fever and lay in bed half asleep and wrote the first chapter of Minty Splitends (which I first started making stuff for in July 2024)

(I've since started rewriting it from scratch) (but. that was a special day I liked that day. even though I got very sick)
