Jonathan

"Saul runs into Jonathan, a man from his past. Saul wonders why Jonathan never called him to let him know that he was HIV positive. The reason is that he didn’t remember sleeping with him. Obviously, their night together meant much more to Saul than it did to this guy."

When First I heard about Richard Chamberlain joining B&S as a man from Saul's past i wondered if he was the one who infected him or the one he said he's been in love with (with Nora on the famous episode 02-07.)
Turns out Jonathan is both.
Hope TPTB will explore this (if the introduction is something to measure up the rest of the stint, we're doomed... The whole thing has been compressed into a single scene that looked alien in the rest of the show).

hard to believe... 3 men after saul in a single season!!!

Today, news arrived that Brothers & Sisters has Family Ties when Michael Gross (the former Dad Steven Keaton to Michael J Fox) tries to chat up Ron Rifkin (who plays Sally Field's character's brother, Saul).

A bit convoluted but get the picture?

Although this may be confusing for the uninitiated, the story line in an upcoming Brothers & Sisters is well worth wading through, especially since E! reports that Michael Gross may try to steal Saul's heart from his current flame, played by Richard Chamberlin (yes, that Richard Chamberlin!).

The latter guy/guy hook-up may or may not get damaged in the process on Brothers & Sisters as Family Ties star Michael Gross hits the small screen again on ABC. Stay tuned to find out the truth in fiction.

Uncle Saul's men for this season

Tomorrow we'll see for the first (and probably last time) Stephen Collins as actual love interest of our beloved uncle.

then Starting from episode 5-10 we'll get Richard Chamberlain come for a brief stint as a man from Saul's past.

Since Bros and Sis has got a back order for another 4 episodes (that brings the total to the usual 22) and doesn't seem to risk cancellation, I wonder if this actual raining men for Saul is an attempt to convince Ron Rifkin to sign in for another season or if it's the Swan son of the character...

Saul in yesterday's episode.

It doesn't explain why it didn't work with Hanry (we may presume it ended when Saul came back to Work), but at least it makes the ball rolling again after half a season where Saul didn't have a thing to do.
Actually I'd prefer to have henry back, but I could do with Saul starting dating.
Sadly I fear that this could hand up being all that we have of Saul's personal life this season. If so I'd be truly disappointed

In the absence of Henry.

Since we don't know where Henry is at the moment (we can only guess he's on the other coast playing at theater) I'd go for Saul picking up a stranger in a Bar (or at a convention or WHATEVER) and discover some days later that the stranger is WALLY WENDELL.
Since the Wendells weren't at the wedding, I can presume that Saul and Wally never met.
