Lillian Gish

I don't mean to be a bother, but I thought that this might be of some interest to some of you. This is a community where you can portary your favorite classic star and interact with other stars. We have a small but growing number of silent greats, and it would be great to have a Lillian Gish or D.W. Griffth or any other star you may be interested in.

My all-time favourite; and one of my "newer," Audrey Hepburn and Lillian Gish, together in the Unforgiven! I keep on meaning to see this film, but also being a huge Audrey Hepburn fan, I've decided to space out her movies, since she really didn't make a tremendous amount. While I'm at it too, a happy belated birthday!
Has anyone actually seen this film, or even heard of it? It apparently didn't do very well and isn't one of the greater ones. Audrey Hepburn here plays a half-Native girl, and Lillian Gish is again playing an older woman. Sounds rather like Duel in the Sun to me... Which I incidentally thought was hilariously trashy and melodramatic.

I wanted to be all generous, and share a link which I've only just discovered. This website has many of Lillian Gish's early films, which she made with the early director DG Griffith. Also including the infamous Birth of a Nation, by the way. I got the opportunity to watch both Orphans of the Storm and Way Down East recently, and it was exciting to find them on the internet too. There are some short, but also sweet, clips from the films here.
