I'm kicking around the idea of starting a boffer (foam weapon) combat group. Me and my best friend wrote out an idea for our own LARP back home and he's going to send me a copy in the next few days. (Once he's finished combining all our notes into one readable PDF file.)

Female Roommate Wanted in 2/2, approx 5m from UCF



I'm looking for a roommate to take a room in my apartment at Barrington Place after JUNE 4TH 2010.

Rent is $524/mo. plus utilities (power, internet, washer/dryer rental). Water, sewer and trash
included in monthly rent; varies by water usage.

It's a second floor apartment, with the staircase in the living room, vaulted ceilings. The
room for rent has a walk-in closet and a large window overlooking a pond with a fountain and ducks. The bedroom is unfurnished, but the living room is and rest of apartment is. Rent will be pro-rated from when you move in.

BARRINGTON PLACE, $524/mo., 2br/2ba, approx 5mi from campus Amenities: high speed internet, cable, washer/dryer in unit, swimming pool, gym, tennis court MOVE IN JUNE 4TH.

I am selling my copy of The Sims 3 for PC. It is very lightly used - I think I played it three times. My PC can't handle it too well and I need monies for my wedding, so I'm letting this go for $30 (retails for $50 I believe).

 Just wondering: Any locals going to CG Con 2009 in July? (It's a con (a la Siggraph) dedicated to Digital Painting, Animation, Modeling, etc.) I'm really thinking of going-- the speakers look great, and I'd really like to talk to some studios at the job fair. The pricing isn't too bad compared to Siggraph, especially with the student discount + 25% off discount code (CGTG25) they're offering. The only thing I'm worried about now is the cost of the flight and hotel. :/ http://www.cgcon.net If other locals are going, we can maybe organize a meetup there? Anyone else planning to go?

Howdy folks!

I have two tickets to see Sweeny Todd, as put on by the Orlando Philharmonic and Mad Cow Theater.
The performance is scheduled for this Saturday, March 7th at 8PM.
It's located in the Bob Carr (which is right next to the Amway Arena).
My tickets are for Orchestra Right, Row P, seats 27 and 28 (which means you're pretty much in the center, seating chart here).
The face value on each ticket is $36. I'm letting each go for $20 OBO.

It is surely going to be an amazing musical. I'm so sad to miss it. I would be going, but I double booked, and I can't skip out on the professional wrestling show my friends put on every month. If you want to go to that, tickets are $10 at the door (kids under 10 get in free), and it's a very fun, entertaining show. More info on the promotion found at: www.ibelieveinwrestling.com.

Hey, guys. This really has nothing to do with UCF, but as a former UCF student reaching out to others, I really need your help.

My friend Nick is a journalist at UM and he's trying really hard to be sent to the Oscars this year to report from the red carpet. Like an idiot, I went onto a celebrity-gossip forum where most of the people there are 16-year-old idiots and my plug for Nick backfired. One person decided it'd be funny to plug some other girl on the list, and there are THOUSANDS of people on this forum. Icons, GIFs, and other media were made within mere minutes and I deleted the post I made because of it. As a result, the post afterward (which had NOTHING to do with the post I made) received HUNDREDS of comments about this.

PLEASE, PLEASE take FIVE minutes out of your day and go here and vote for Nick Maslow:
