From: Wepushel, a fantasy world. Later, from Brooktown, a small town in Midwest USA.

Quick Backstory: Polly was the owner of the "Hire a Witch" shop back in her former world, a service used by wandering adventurers to either enlist her in their party for a little bit of time, cast a curse on an enemy or purchase a potion. All of her potions are outsourced because she's always put off actually learning how to make them herself. After an especially trying ordeal, she went to go make a "Second Chance Healing Potion". It was botched, mostly due to the fact that she has no taste buds.

As she traveled to meet with a client the next day, she yawned and... was hit by a speeding carriage.

She woke up in the modern day, and slowly but surely started up her business yet again, this time backed by The Internet (which she has no idea what the hell any of this is, how do you use it), a friend, and a complete lack of morals. The issue being that she doesn't have as easy a time using magic due to a change in the air, and it results in her being massively nerfed. She does eventually learn what does bring her magic back, different types of energy drinks. Rather, different drinks that give her a bit of a boost and get her mana back.

A good witch? A bad witch? She's just a witch, who cares.

Personality: She's a bratty old witch who doesn't really care much about others. To her, her clients and the rest of the world are tools for her to get ahead in her life. She's not really worried about what others think about her in the older world, since they come to her anyway for her expertise and skill. In the newer world, she's a lot less willing to put up with other people's shit, because as far as she knows, she's the only witch in the world. Still, she wants to use that influence to get herself paid and gain influence in the world.

Being that she was pretty much just an NPC and was only used for quests and what not for money, she's completely unused to any kind of actual adoration or care. One of her less sketchy jobs involved her acting in a children's play as a pretend witch, and when the children gave her cards thanking her, she had no idea what to do with that information.

She has no qualms really against doing anything good or bad, though she's more likely to say that something's a waste of her time. Still, she doesn't mind getting to work as long as she's sure it benefits her in some way.

Polly also has no idea how the hell technology works. She kinda knows a little bit about smartphones at this point due to her job and can turn on a computer, but a lot of other stuff escapes her. Though she's grown fond of reality shows and makes a fun drunk fantasy movie watcher.
