Me: I'm afraid I am having problems with doing SIMS analysis on my samples.
Him: Yes, well everyone's having problems with the SIMS machine at the moment. It's broken.
Me: Yes, but it was me that broke it! Or rather my samples did.
Him: ...
Me: *stupid grin*
Him: Okay, let's not do SIMS on those samples.
