Hi, I am new to the community but I need help finding a fic that I lost when I switched computers, lol. Donna is a translator for the UN (I think) and switches to working for President Bartlet after she meets Josh. She has higher clearance than Josh and goes to meetings he cannot. It was still a wip last time I checked. Hope that rings a bell for someone cos it is driving me mad looking for it. Thanks
This isn't a rec, really, so if it's not allowed, I sincerely apologize. I've always had my WW fics archived at the National Library but the links pointed back to my website. Somewhere along the way my website was taken down - flagged for something I wasn't even a part of - but my server is bring the site back up. However, I've been mean to back up my fics to LJ anyway so this situation was a good catalyst. Here's the link to my master WW fic list.
I'm fairly new to reading West Wing fanfiction, and I was wondering if anybody had any good recs for stories I should read? I'm having difficulty finding many by myself, especially as so many links on rec lists etc are now broken.
I'm primarily interested in stories with a major focus on the women (gen, het, femslash). My favourite women to read about are Ainsley and Ellie, but I'll happily branch out if the stories are interesting. Crossovers are great, and the longer the fic the better. I'm not desperately interested in post-/pre-administration stories.
I've so far mainly read Jeanine's fics, and am now reading through I, Lifesaver by SheilaVR.
If this isn't allowed just let me know. I am new to the West Wing (I actually haven't watched all the way through yet but know generally what happens) and am looking for a place to start.
There is so much fan fic and it seems very scattered. I've been though the recommendations here but are there any Josh/Donna must reads or places where someone else has asked this? I'm specifically interested in post finale work fic (I've seen a lot that are more focused on Josh/Donna's personal life which is good but I'm also interested in the way they interact/don't interact at work) or stories that also include other pairings (Sam/Ainsley perhaps?). Or just Sam/Ainsley?
Does anyone have any long, multi-chapter Josh/Sam fics they could recommend for me? (that don't take place before Bartlett became president - I've found there are a ton of those and they aren't really what I'm looking for.)
Or, barring that, rec something happy! Any fic that made you smile or laugh, I'll take.
