nowadays drag is something primarily for cis people (and, more and more, cishet people) to enjoy. the runaway popularity of ru paul’s drag race, a show hosted by someone who thinks the only difference between a trans woman and a drag queen is “a few thousand and a good surgeon” and has a recurring segment that treats clocking as a funny joke really shows that cis people dont give a fuck about the artistry that goes into drag or how it began as a way for people to express themselves outside established gender norms, they just want to gawk at parodies of trans women and pretend it makes them woke.

one thing abt me is that I can't recognize veneers and I can't tell when someone's hair is a wig and I can't clock fake accents even when they're done pretty badly and I'm also bad with faces. all that to say I would be insanely vulnerable to hijinks/capers

i feel like people still think accessibility and accommodation are favours bestowed upon others and not like a collective responsibility of everyone in society

Solar doesn't compete with agriculture, and can be beneficial to it.

Just also cover our car parks.

Especially with summers getting hotter and dryer in a lot of places, solar panels in agricultural fields is a really good idea. Sheltering vegetables from the hottest, driest time of the day will help them grow better. Cows and sheep and such seek out shelter from the sun. I think I recall reading that they found higher biodiversity in pastures that had solar panels because of the shelter they provide.
