Join our online workshop on the Poetry of the Paranormal. Six sessions from July 21st to September. 1st. You'll get to explore poetry created through ouija boards, automatic writing, magical rituals, trance states, and more. We're not starting a cult. We promise...

Are your dreams prophetic? Have you seen a UFO? Want to write about it? Join me, @moonandmouth, and @SamBuntz for Poetry of the Paranormal, an online workshop where we'll investigate the occult to write poems.

This was the only short form reel clip I’ve seen that seemed to have actual aesthetic value. The loneliness and freedom of America…

From Ted Chiang's recent New Yorker essay about AI. I totally agree with this:

Sprite is everywhere but you never hear anyone talk about Sprite. There’s no mythos around Sprite like with Coke or Pepsi, just a conspiracy of silence.

In New Mexico I saw this staircase that was allegedly miraculously constructed in three days by a mysterious workman in the 19th C. He disappeared without taking any payment. It has no central or side supports, making it an engineering marvel. Has a mystic number of steps, 33.

Cormac McCarthy is probably the greatest living writer. Did he ever try to become part of a “scene”? No. He became a “gregarious loner,” who lived in Knoxville and El Paso, far removed from the hipster sectors of NYC and LA.

Many people still don't realize that former U.S. President Barack Obama wrote stoner poetry in college about subterranean aquatic apes that eat figs.

On the Red Scare interview with Houellebecq, Dasha and Houellebecq were talking about how Switzerland feels Godless. It's funny how often this comes up. George Harrison said people in Switzerland lacked a spiritual side, & the guy from Vampire Weekend said it was "vibeless" once.
