As someone who relies on others to mask to keep me safe as a vent dependent trach user, I appreciate all the #YallMasking pics and to all the folks who cannot mask for various reasons I SEE YOU TOO!!
I cannot breathe through my nose & mouth because of my tracheotomy & ventilator so wearing a mask is not effective
My vent doesn’t have a filter that’s like an N95 so I depend on others around me to keep me & themselves safe
That’s community care. That’s how it *should* work
