The Trump Accounts app just shot to No. 1 on Apple's App Store.
Americans are racing to download the app, which lets parents manage new government-sponsored investment accounts for their children as part of the federal savings program which launched on July 4.
Eligible kids can receive a $1,000 government contribution, with families also able to add their own money to the accounts that are managed by parents or guardians until the child turns 18. At that age, children can either continue to save and invest, or use it for things like education expenses or a down payment on a home.
