ok, so this has nothing to do with BJD, but whatever... I have a Moi Meme Moitie mirror-bought at Anime Expo, and Signed by Mana (after waiting almost all day in that line- with dolls, so it counts as being doll related, right?!)
well, I was noticing that F*ing and Odelia are ALOT closer than I EVER had even FATHOMED. No, they are not 'together' but they are best friends. It is possible that they used to be more, but not anymore. Yes, my nerdy girl with (I tought) no social life, is BEST FRIENDS with the pink-haired flambouyant boy! WOW. I was so shocked I ended up starting to write about when they first met/became friends. Its nowhere near done, but it explains about Odelia and F*ing's (and Lara and Mel's) high school life. They were all very different, but somehow all ended up being friends (some better/closer than others). I also think that Lara is actually very straight and Mel is just going to have to be satisfied being her best female friend. Perhaps with the Adriyn/Mikael situation Lara might even try contacting her old perfect match to see if he'd still be interested in her. ;)
so, today there was another Thousand Oaks meetup! :D this time it was at Anna's house <3 Kasimir, Kittensgomeowy, Ballon Molly, Teatime, Teatime's boyfriend, Kiss and I all were there! :)
Kasimir brought his Soo special girl Kittensgomeowy brought Misha, her Jollyplus Daisy Balloon Molly brought her YoSD Yuki (on a Suzuna body) and Shiratori boy (with pink hair! :D) Teatime brought her crew @_@ (lots) Teatime's boyfriend doesn't have any dolls yet (but is planning on a Saint! <3) Kiss brought Momoko (Megu), Hotaru (F-01), Yuki (SWD Rengemaru), Daisuke (Magical Michael), Manabu (Manabu), and Jamie (Yukinojou) from her room to her living/dining room! XD and I brought my whole crew (minus Lena's head) soooo- Adriyn (AR Present Ren), Mikael (POJ Ren), Chive (SWD Suzuna mod), Rook (Volks Margaret head on/stealing Lena's body), Lara's head (Musedoll Ciel- 'white skin'), Shoji (Magical Michael- new faceup), Mel (AR Fair Nell), Odelia (Dollstown Ariel head on a SD13 girl body), F*ing (Nanuri head on a Domuya boy body)... I /think/ thats it... :sweat:
so, I got Odelia's head on tuesday in the mail! shes alot sadder than I had thought she would be, but I love her anyways. ^__^ Her head is a tad whiter than Ayumi's body- but it could just be that the body has yellowed over the (almost) year that I've had it >.< I would really love that Leeke order to come, so that she would have her correct hair instead of the R-Asiam default (good thing I have it, because she is most DEFINITELY a brunette!)
Today I also got F*ing's body! its a Domuya D-one body, and its pretty nice. The knees are pretty wonky (they are like wannabe Yosd knees) and the hips have come out of the socket like Ayu's hips did! (same butt ledge) The shoulders also have a ledge-thing so that they can stay out straight easily (I rarely have my doll's arms fully extended... no clue why they added that.) The hands are pretty sucky, but are ok. and the waist is amazing (IMO) its a 3part torso, and total love (for the most part... I might mod the top of the center piece to add more movement there)
I feel like crap today, and Mel is sitting next to the computer, ready to be huggled any time my mom comes in the room. <3 shes a great major happy distraction! :D
