2024 August Fic-A-Day Challenge

Just a quick FYI about this year's August Challenge

For the 2024 August Challenge, which begins Thursday, August 1st, 2024, the challenge is again being hosted on the Twisting the Hellmouth forums.

The posting Rules are slightly different due to the change in venue but otherwise it is the same challenge.

Some key points:

1. You will need a TtH Forum or TtH Main site login to participate. (but that was required here also so that is not new)

2. You will not need a TtH forum login to comment/provide feedback to stories posted to the TtH forum 2024 Challenge subforum as a guest/anonymous during the challenge month and for several weeks afterward. To post anywhere else on the TtH Forums will require a forum login (Leaving reviews on the main site will still require a login.)

3. Once the Challenge starts we'll post links to the Author Posts on the TtH Forums for those who want to read the participant's stories. (Assuming they have them)

Note: The ending is a bit rough. Ran out of time. Had to cram the ending into too few words. Maybe an epilogue next year to finish things up? And send Joyce home? (Or I might just add an epilogue when I post this to AO3/TtH. We'll see.

Summary: How will they escape from this one? Are they stuck 'out of phase' with their timeline forever? At least they now know what happened to Spectral Investigations (Pete and Freddie).

Notes: Fusion story with the 2022 movie, Marry Me (spoilers in the link). It's not an amazing movie, but somehow it has sucked me in (thank you Amazon Prime for streaming it free...). If you haven't seen it, you *should* be able to read this and subsequent stories just fine. If you have seen it, you'll quickly notice that I am not slavishly following the script. Stuff in italics are lifted straight from the movie.
