So, this started at Sakrua Con 2006. My friend bought a really funny Inuyasha doujinshi in Japanese, and inspired by Twisted Flicks, we began making up our own lines. Then I thought "HEY! Wouldn't it be awesome if there was a place online to post my fan translations?" And thus Twisted Fics was born. Doujinshis of various anime's are welcomed.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT ACTUAL TRANSLATING OR YOU SHOWING YOUR OWN DOUJINSHI. THIS IS STRICTLY FANS SCREWING WITH WORDS IN PREVOUSLY DONE DOUJINSHI. It's not restricted to Anime. Books, TV, Movies,etc, etc.
That said few basic, common courtesy stuff:
-In you initial post introduce yourself and your fave animes, just so we get to know you.
-Credit the creator and/or title of the doujinshi you're fanlating. If you don't know because it's in Japense or another language you can't read, send it to me and I'll find out.
-RATE AND WARN PEOPLE IF DOUJIN IS HENTAI, GRAPHIC, OR YOAI/YURI. And put the picture behind a lj tag so that the people can choose not to look at it.
-Flame wars will get you automatic warning and then ban if I have to warn you a second time.
-Collabs are always awesome! Just make sure you and your partner(s) are both credited.
-PLAGERISM=AUTOMATIC BAN.
Other then that... remember the three "Have's": Have fun, have friends, and have the shiney doujinshis always by your side. X3 (yes, I am a cornball.)
