the-silver-sun's Torchwood AU fanfic
This AU series of fics starts before series one of Torchwood (using Fragments 2x12 as a starting point) and will eventually continue past the events of Children of Earth.
Basic premise of the AU.
Ianto's attempts to join Torchwood are not successful, and the first series occurs with Ianto not a member of the Torchwood team, and how that would affect what was seen in the episodes if he hadn't been there.
This isn't a Ianto free or lite comm though, and it also follows what Ianto is doing during that first season and his interactions with Jack.
Going into the second series Ianto becomes a member of Torchwood during Jack's absence (the Year the Never Was)
How Children of Earth will be tackled is something that I've not yet decided and is likely to be many months away in the scheme of writing things.
Format
The AU will be told in a series of episode rewrites, original fics and fic lets, and occasionally some artwork.
Entries will be dated in the chronological order that they happen within the AU rather than the order in which they are written - although were I can these will be the same thing.
Posting
For now only I will be writing in this AU, although once each series is completed I will open that series AU up to other posters to write missing scenes, episode tags etc.
