- Shout-Out: One sketch has William going over a plan to Mary which will come off as very familiar. "I fly to the courtyard, I fire my cannons at the front of the parliament, I enter the king's throne room, I sit on the toilet- wait. What?"
- Stating the Simple Solution: After Mr. Clockwork had Mary built, Lady Laura points out it would have been just as easy and less time consuming to have just hired a maid.
- Valentine's Day Episode: The Short, "Me on Valentine's day", which has Mary ask Lady Laura what she wants for Valentines.
