- Portmanteau Series Nickname: The Japanese name of the series Tensei Shitara Suraimu Datta Kennote is often shortened to TenSura which has begun to be used by American fans as well alongside Reincarnated Slime as an alternative to the lengthy title.
- Real-Life Relative: In the Latin American Spanish dub, the three Ugarte siblings, Victor, Gabriela and Xochitl respectively, voice Tamura, Trya and Kagali, while Victor's son, Emiliano Ugarte, voice Kenya Misaki.
- What Could Have Been: According to interviews from Fuse, the initial plan was for the massacre of Tempest's citizens and especially Shion during the Falmuth invasion to not be fixed and leave them dead, causing Rimuru to spiral into anger and despair as he throws aside his humanity and starts waging war on the rest of the world with the remainder of Tempest in revenge. The initial chapters of the web novel where this was being depicted got so much pushback from fans grieving in the comments that he changed his mind and went with the resurrection plotline. A glimpse of this alternate timeline can be seen during a limited time event in ISEKAI Memories and gives the "Forsaken Future" Rimuru.
